Maternity shoot gone crazy!
A few months back, a Good Friend (Kristin Irons) and myself, planned a flour shoot. In our minds this shoot was going to be awesome! The only catch, we had never done one, so that meant of course we had to practice! Not wanting to use one of the models we had lined up for the actual shoot, we decided to ask another good friend (Sharilyn Wells) of ours if she wanted to be our test dummy. What made it an added bonus, she was pregnant! So that made it a maternity shoot by default. =) With that, we packed our bags and headed out for some testing. My choice of camera was a holga 120N that was given to me by the wonderful owner (Randy) of Holamods.com! The Free Holga came about from a cool encounter I had with a flickr buddy (Brian Schiele) of mine while I was deployed this last year overseas. Having Enjoyed the photos that I took throughout that year, he passed the word to Randy and upon arriving home I found a nicely packaged box in the mail! so with that, here are the results. last note, I used expired Kodak Portra 800, giving the photos a cool lomography feel. =)
