Two film shoots in one day!

This last week me and a buddy set out to meet a new model in what we thought would be a eerie barn shoot. But as luck would have it, that didn't happen. I guess a lot can happen in a year, and the barn that was there last year burnt down. Not being aware of this, we met up at the location only to be disappointed with this reality. Sooooo instead.. we decided to not waste the opportunity and still shoot some film.

The first part of the shoot as I mentioned took place outdoors, near the area where the barn used to be. The original concept was suppose to be shot in some of the dark areas of the barn. We also planned on using mostique netting to serve as texture, some of it wrapped and some to be draped as well. Instead we just used it as a over lay on our model.

Although the photos still came out great, for some strange reason I kept having that barn in the back of my mind. This only caused what I call photographers block when it came to my creativity. Which kind of sucks because as photographers I believe that we should work through the obstacles. This by no means is a hit to our model, she did a fantastic job giving the fact that she had to work with our brain farts thought out the whole shoot.

Moving on to our 2nd shoot for the day, we decided to stop by another photographers house and held her at "camera point" and made her model for us! Although busy with work, she was gracious enough to pose for us as we fumbled with out one strobe. For the first series of shots she wore her wedding dress which we draped the mosquito netting on proving to be a great combination.

Moving on to the 2nd set of photos, we decided to mix things up by going with the opposite of colors...black dress and a black vail. I do have a confession to make.... I did shoot off some digital shots.. I know, I know, I am a horrible film photographer and I will be consumed in a fire pit of developer ....  haha..... I'm sorry lol
