The Hunger Games are here!

Alright... so if you have not heard.. North America has been destroyed and has been rebuilt under 12 districts. Due to a past rebellion lead by district 13 (which was destroyed), the remaining 12 districts, as punishment have had to give up one boy and one girl to battle it out to the death in what is known as The Hunger Games...  being that I was one of the unlucky ones to be selected, I have decided to battle this one out with two of my favorite weapons... the Mamiya AFD/Mamiya ZD and Mamiya AF/Portra 400!!!

ok enough silliness =) As for the shoot, to be honest, it was kind of rough, mainly due to the hike to and from our shooting location. Not only was it a long walk, but add a back pack with all your gear, a strobe, light stand and a beauty dish... man was I tired!

For the most part, the shoot was easy...meter my lighting, compose, and shoot. The only exception was working with the beauty dish. Although a beauty dish is capable of producing some awesome photographs, I was having some what of a hard time getting it just right. I was able to snap off a few awesome shots, but needless to say, it was challenge. That said, the the only way to correct my lighting situation is to practice, practice, practice. Alright, hate to blog and run.. but its my bed time and well.. this photog is tired.. until next time my crazy darkroom film friends =)
