Sing me a melody and I will slowly drift away

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a local music artist, Alexis Prunczik. What I found interesting after the shoot was how much her passion for music mirrored that of mine... or any photographer for that matter. As humans, we are always trying to find different ways of expressing our emotions. For Alexis, it is her voice and the music she composes, for us are photographers, it is more visually based. Either way...both approaches seek to stir something deep within the listener or viewer. Sometimes, it is love we want to share to the world, so we compose love in an audible or visual format. Other times, the pain in side of us is so great, that we can't help but pour that emotion into everything we do. If you have not had a chance to listen to some of Alexis' music, I encourage you to do so by clicking on Youtube logo below, you won't regret it!
