Photography Locations: Keeping your Eyes Open

As mentioned before, always being on the look out for new locations can be pretty daunting. I do not know about you, but shooting in the same location over and over can become mundane. Now don't get me wrong, yes you can do a lot with a location, but sometimes you need to just step back and revisit said location at another date..  This to me, gives me a "creative breather" of sorts and allows me to come back refreshed and reenergized.

2 weeks ago, we were lucky enough to find another location, and although small, held tons of potential as far as creative possibilities go. For those that can't tell, our location of choice for this shoot happen to be an abandon trailer. What was more interesting was the fact that from the looks of it, it actually looked like it used to be a nice one!

Once again, same rules applied. Ensuring the location was safe to shoot at as well as making sure no creatures were calling this place home. As far as our model, she turned out to be pretty cool and fit the concept well. Which brings me to my next point... the concept of this shoot.

I would like to say the concept for this shoot was something deep and profound, but to be honest, the concept was the red dress. Yes folks.. thats it.. pretty simple huh? =) I understand that there are people out there that need to create something deep and meaningfull, but for me, my passion is creation, whether it be simple or complex, it does not matter to me as long as I am creating. That said, our dress would be just a dress if it weren't for our model. so with that, I leave you. Please make sure to stop by again, I am sure I'll have more photo goodness in the coming week or so!
