Film photography: Smoke and a digital photograph.

This post... I am going to let it speak for itself. What do I mean by this... well my friends.. its simple. The shoot was amazing!  Inspiration from this shoot was based loosely on Last Season's American Horror Story, Coven. Now when I say loosely, I mean that the outfit was built around some of the fashion used within the season!

Few things first... Yes the smoke is real and yes the photo you see above was shot on film! To me this was exciting! You cannot imagine how nervous I was when taking this photo. For one, I had make sure my subject was in focus, and two I had to pick the right moment when to take the shot! Yes I know, doing the above are typical photographer skills... But still, it can be nerve racking! Once developed and holding the negative up to the light, I Instantly knew I had a winner!

Now as far as formats go, I did bring my digital as well and although that was the case, I found that most of my digitals mirrored all of my film shots; all except for the photo you see above. What was disappointing was the fact that I did not shoot this paticular shot on film! Sadly this photo will not be making its way to be printed in my darkroom because of that. Ok as always, that is it for now. Sorry that this post is short.. but as they say.. sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.
