A Cats delight!

Carrying on with my element concept shoots, I decided we would play with yarn for this shoot! For those that do not know, I have recently taken up the challenge to try and incorporate different elements into all my shoots. Although its easier said then done, it can be difficult at times when trying give reason as to why one is using a certain element.

After searching the internet for ideas as to what to do with the yarn, I ran across a similar concept, inspired by the photographers usage of yarn, I decided to mimic the concept and give it a try for myself.

Personally, i feel that if one is inspired by another person's work, there is nothing wrong with mimicking their concept.  That said, there is a fine line between copying the shoot photo by photo, but at the same time, can one really say that a similar concept has not already been done. I like to think that as photographers, we should as a community feed off of each other. the same way one feeds off of one's favorite song, book, or poem. To me, its all about motivating life within others.
